VISSION & MISSION

Our Vision

Every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him.

Our Mission

Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. We accomplish our mission by ...
  • Praying for young people.
  • Going where kids are.
  • Building personal relationships with them.
  • Winning the right to be heard.
  • Providing experiences that are fun, adventurous and life-changing.
  • Sharing our lives and the Good News of Jesus Christ with adolescents.
  • Inviting them to personally respond to this Good News.
  • Loving them regardless of their response.
  • Nurturing kids so they might grow in their love for Christ and the knowledge of God's Word and become people who can share their faith with others.
  • Helping young people develop the skills, assets and attitudes to reach their full God-given potential.
  • Encouraging kids to live connected to the Body of Christ by being an active member of a local congregation.
  • Working with a team of like-minded individuals -- volunteer leaders, committee members, donors and staff.

Our Values

  • Living according to and communicating the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Carrying out our mission under the authority of Scripture and relying on the Holy Spirit to empower our ministry.
  • Encouraging the welfare and spiritual health of those who do this ministry, that they may minister out of a consistent and growing relationship with Christ and His followers.
  • Researching and developing innovative approaches to reaching uncommitted, disinterested kids around the world.
  • Reaching adolescents of all social, cultural, economic and ethnic backgrounds throughout the world.
  • Working with followers of Christ from a variety of traditions and local churches around the world.
  • Welcoming all those whom God calls to our mission -- men and women of all races, staff and volunteers -- who are linked to a common purpose of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ.
  • Observing the highest standards of stewardship of all the resources placed in our trust.

GOD GIVES US RICHLY

The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
(Proverbs 10:22)
On this day, God is going to bless you with the worldly riches. Dear Friend! You may say, “I am going through severe financial problems. I am trying my level best but even then I am only faced with losses and failures.” Today I feel in my spirit that God besides blessing you with spiritual blessings would also bountifully bless you with the worldly blessings as well. The Bible says, “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy” ( 1 Timothy 6:17).

Perhaps you might wonder, “Can I ask for worldly riches to a heavenly Father?” It
is God’s desire to grant us richly all things to enjoy during our life on this earth when we ask of Him. Dear Friend! The Bible states, “Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!” (Psalm 31:19). God has already stored all the goodness for those who fear Him.

It could be that you are waiting for quite a long time to be materially blessed in this world. You could question, “When will all the problems connected to my loan get solved?” The Bible says, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). Your blessings are on the way. Be of good cheer!

God granted physical healing to Sis. Shyamala so that she could richly enjoy all the goodness that He has in store for her (Exodus 15:26; 1 Peter 2:24). She had a tumour in her stomach. Even after operation it never became alright. On a certain day she came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Meeting experiencing excruciating pain in her body. On that day, while I fervently offered prayers for God to heal His children Sis. Shyamala received the healing touch of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and testified for the glory of God that the pain in her body had vanished and that she has been healed completely. All glory be to God.”

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I praise and thank You for all the goodness that You have kept in store for me so that I could richly enjoy them during my sojourn on this earth. May Your goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. Please strengthen my soul and prosper it to sing praises of Your holy name. You make my life flourish like a palm tree and help me to grow tall like a cedar of Lebanon. I believe that everything was made in and through You and You have the power to give from the treasures of gold and silver to anyone who seeks You diligently for Your grace and mercy. Please prosper all my efforts on this day and fill me with joy unspeakable.

In Your precious name I pray.

Amen.

1: Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2: Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3: Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4: For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5: Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6: Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7: To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8: To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9: To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

PRAYER - "God Hears Everything You Say"

PRAYER - "God Hears Everything You Say"

God not only hears your prayers, but also every word you speak. If you pray, God hears you. But if you blaspheme, He hears that, too. God pronounced curses upon the people of Mount Seir because they blasphemed the house of Israel. Guard your mouth and your lips. Anything you say can be held against you.

Ezekiel 35:12-15 - "I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, ...with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them. ...I will make thee desolate. ...O mount Seir."
1: The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2: The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3: Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4: The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5: The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6: He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads
over many countries.
7: He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Spiritual War
Resisting The Spirit Of Rome

by Ken Raggio

One of the rudimentary lessons that every Christian must learn is this:
"We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,"
Ephesians 6:12-14.

Every faithful believer will eventually discover that there are many spiritual adversaries to true faith in God.

The true Church must be totally independent of the Prince of Rome.

Don't forget that any ungodly prince exists, by definition, to "steal, kill, and destroy" anything that God might want to save.

In dealing with these opponents of God and truth, we must be as wise as serpents.

No one of us can, at will, overthrow the prince of Rome. He is there in the wisdom and foreknowledge of God, to fill a prophetic purpose.

We do NOT, however, have to be oppressed by that, or any other spirit. We will frequently encounter lower princes that are subordinate to the prince of Rome.

In each case, we have full authority to invoke the name of Jesus, both defensively and offensively.

While we may not fully eradicate the Roman influence from off the earth, until the Prince of peace, Jesus Christ, brings all things in subjection unto Himself, be assured that God will faithfully stand with you every time you rise up against the forces of evil in His Name.

He will underwrite and endorse our attempts to conquer new territory for truth, because Jesus Christ came into the world "that He might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).

JESUS

The ABCs Of Winning Souls

By Ken Raggio

Nobody ever found God without someone to help them. "How can they believe upon Him of whom they have not heard?" Romans 10:14.

That is why Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. We have a divine mandate to win souls. The only thing we can take to heaven from this world is the souls we have brought into the kingdom of God.

It is every Christian's calling to go "into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in." But now, more than ever, it seems, it is difficult to find a willing audience who will hear the gospel. For that task, we need wisdom from God. "He that winneth souls is wise," Proverbs 11:30. It takes wisdom to earn and keep someone's attention.

It is one thing to desire to minister to those who do not know the gospel, but quite another thing to become truly successful at soul-winning. Not many people are soul-winners. That is why I submit this to you today, to help motivate and teach you to lead people to eternal salvation.

Fortunately, there are many things you can do to help save someone's soul. Of course, you must first have your own relationship with God, built upon the knowledge of God's Word, and have a mature understanding of the ways of His Spirit and His will. But in addition to that, it is important to prepare yourself to have the heart and mind of a soul-winner.

Here are some suggestions to help you prepare to be a better soul-winner, from A to Z. Take a look.

A
ct like you really care. It is frightening to think how few people really care whether a soul perishes forever in Hell. Nobody deserves Hell, not even your worst enemy. Hell is an awful place. Go ahead and care about people's eternal destiny. Ask God to give you a soul-winner's heart. Jesus cared enough to go out of His way through Samaria to show the way of salvation to someone who was not even a Jew.

B e kind. Most folks who go to work or to school get their share of put-downs and cursings. Be different. Show some respect. Jesus startled a lot of people by treating tax-collectors and sinners like they were real people. Be kind, tender-hearted, forgiving. Their positive response may shock you.
C herish an opportunity to have a meaningful conversation with someone you hardly know. It might turn into a life-changing experience for both of you. Any time two or three people begin to talk about Jesus, He comes into their midst, and when Jesus is there, anything can happen. Make it happen.
D are to get involved in someone's search for God. If you hear them express a desire that only God can meet, speak up. You really do have what they need. Jesus saw Zacchaeus in a sycamore tree and recognized that he was a true seeker. He took time to go home with him and befriend him. It worked. Zacchaeus became a real believer.
E njoy conversations that are spiritually oriented. Even if the other person is not well-versed in the Bible, your positive input could cause their appetite to increase. Jesus talked with two men by the wayside, and they declared afterward, "Did not our heart burn within us, while He talked with us by the way, and while He opened to us the scriptures?" Your conversation may cause someone's heart to burn within them.
F
ollow up on meaningful encounters. After someone has opened their heart to you, they may be hoping you'll come back around. "And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him," Luke 8:40.
G ive a legitimate opportunity a chance. Don't hesitate for fear you won't say the right thing. A Christian's understanding of the issues of life far exceeds that of non-believers. They said of Jesus, "Never man spake like this man," John 7:46. You will be amazed at the great power and authority you have when God's word is in your mouth.
H
ave something ready to talk about if a door swings open. Be prepared to meet someone who needs direction. Ask God to show you what you need to know, and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. "Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear," 1 Peter 3:15.
I nvestigate a situation that seems opportune. Sometimes, people live in hopeless abandon because they do not think anyone will ever come to their aid. "And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: ...to lay him before him." Jesus said unto him, "Arise, and take up thy couch, ...and they were all amazed," Luke 5:18,24,26. Do what those men did. Take your lost friend to Jesus.
J ustify out-of-the-ordinary requirements, when it comes to winning a soul. Everybody has their routines, but if a man or woman can be eternally saved by my efforts, I should make an exception to my routine! The angel sent Philip from Jerusalem to Gaza, just to teach one Ethiopian; and he sent Peter from Joppa to Jerusalem to teach an Italian named Cornelius.
K eep the line of communication open. Every relationship faces various conflicts, so when a point of disagreement presents itself, agree to disagree for the moment. Don't cut off the opportunity to resume talks. Remember, God is the God of second chances. He is longsuffering, and not willing that any should perish.
L isten. It is surprising how many people just need someone to listen to them verbalize their need. Be the attentive ear they need. "Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great," Deuteronomy 1:17.
M eet them half-way. If someone is making a move in the right direction, make it easy for them. While the prodigal son "was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him," Luke 15:20.
N ever say never. Just because someone is a hard-head, does not mean that they will never come around. Even the most obnoxious people can have a change of heart. Don't give up too soon. Manasseh was one of the most wicked kings of Israel, but his circumstances finally humbled him, and he made one of the most awesome turn-arounds ever recorded.
O pen the door for them. When you see signs of curiosity, introduce a new area of discussion. After all, you are the one who has been a Christian before them. Take the lead. Throw down a challenge. "Wilt thou be made whole?" John 5:6.
P atronize their objections. Assume that their argument or skepticism is well-founded. Avoid an unnecessary conflict. "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man," Colossians 4:6.
Q uit running from the opportunity. The rewards of soul-winning are the most gratifying in the world. Ananias was afraid to witness to Saul, knowing that he had already killed many Christians. "But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel," Acts 9:15. What if Ananias had lost heart? The Apostle Paul might never have been saved.
R esist the temptation to impose personal beliefs. A person needs eternal truth, not personal prejudices or unbiblical "convictions." Just give them the Word. In its purest form, it is more powerful than anything else you can say. "We speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth," 1 Corinthians 2:13.
S tand up for what is right. What the whole world needs today is a Christian with a backbone. Many of the most popular trends being touted in Christianity today are absolutely lethal. Object to sin and wrong. Make a bold case. "Stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle," 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
T ry again. If at first you don't succeed, the second or third try might be all it takes. We often mistake a person's non-response to be a rejection, but they may be only thinking it out. Go for it. Peter at first refused to preach to the Gentiles, but God dealt with him a second time, and Peter obeyed. As a result, the gospel entered an entirely new era. The Gentile Church was born. What if God had not dealt with YOU the second time?
U
nderstand your friend without insisting that he understand you. The more you understand about the other person's position, the more empowered you are to help. The blind man did not even know who healed him. He did not know if Jesus was a sinner or not. He only knew that Jesus healed him. If you can help to save them, they don't even have to know your name.
V erify the facts. If they do not respond as you had hoped, do some investigating. Ask questions. Was there a misunderstanding? "[Jesus] said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?" Mark 8:21. He also said that our job is to teach them "to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you," Matthew 28:20.
W ait and see. A garden doesn't spring up overnight. After you have sown the seed, give it time. Impatience is a destructive force. Let God do what you cannot do. "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days," Ecclesiastes 11:1.
X pect a miracle. After all, no man can come to God unless the Spirit draws him. Our job is to do what we can. God's job is to do what we can't! Pray for your friend and ask God to do a miracle. Then trust Him to finish the work. Paul said, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase," 1 Corinthians 3:6.
Y
ield yourself to God. It may be that God wants to speak something supernaturally through you. Paul said, "My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power," 1 Corinthians 2:4. Be sensitive to the Holy Ghost. Remember, God can do more in a minute than we can in a lifetime.
Z
ealously persevere. Let your emotions and enthusiasm energize you. The efforts you make will seem small when you stand on the streets of Heaven and realize someone is there because of your efforts. "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him," Psalms 126:6.

PRAYER - "Presumption Sabotages Prayer"

The LORD rebuked His people for presumptuous praying. "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, ...Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, ...they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God." Sin and hypocrisy sabotage prayer. Repent first!

Isaiah 58:9 - "Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity."

PRINCIPALS - "They Who Publish Good Tidings Of Peace"

It is easy to become obsessed with life's oppressions and oppressors. The Bible writers certainly documented Israel's many hardships at the hands of their enemies. But God requires us to consider the day when all oppressors will cease, and His name is no longer blasphemed. He commends anyone who will publish the good news of His coming kingdom. I volunteer for that task.

Isaiah 52:7 - "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"

PRINCIPLES - "God Will Turn His Fury From Israel To Their Enemies"

So often in scriptures we find God speaking comforting words to His people. He pleaded with them as "my people," and "my nation," and reminded them that heaven and earth, and all things evil, will pass away. He promised to afflict their enemies as harshly as their enemies afflicted them. Only He would be their everlasting salvation.

Isaiah 51:22-23 - "I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee."

PROPHECIES - "The Rereward - God's "Rear Guard""

Isaiah 58 decrees blessings upon those who do the will of God. "Thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward." The archaic word "rereward" simply means "rear guard." So the prophecy says that when you are led by righteousness, God will both go ahead of you, and follow behind you. He will protect you from the front and from behind. You might also interpret that as meaning that God will protect you from your past.

Isaiah 52:12 - "The LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward."

PRAYER - "The Righteous Will Rejoice At Armageddon"

Isaiah never used the word 'Armageddon,' but volumes of his prophecies pertain to Armageddon. John the Baptist said that Messiah "will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire," Matthew 3:12. Isaiah said, "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof." As the wicked perish, the righteous will rejoice.

Isaiah 24:14 - "They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea."

PRINCIPALS - "Antichrist: Spoiler and Extortioner"

Isaiah called the Assyrian Antichrist "the spoiler," (one who robs, ravages, plunders) and "the extortioner," (one who takes by violence, force or abuse). The Antichrist will seize Jewish properties in the West Bank (Judea), precipitating "Jacob's trouble," the great tribulation. Jesus warned them that dwell in Judea to flee at that time (Matthew 24:15-16). Some believe they will flee to Petra; however no specific prophecy proves that.

Isaiah 16:4-5 - "Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoil, for the extortioner is at an end."

PRINCIPLES - "I Will Punish The World For Their Evil"

You can view this as a prophecy, but it is also a divine principle. Sin cannot abide in God's presence. We must put away sin, via the plan of salvation. He must either cleanse us, or destroy us.

Isaiah 13:11-12 - "I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir."

PROPHECIES - "The Burden Of Babylon"

In "the burden of Babylon" articulated by Isaiah in chapter 13, God says that Babylon will finally be destroyed as Sodom and Gomorrah, and it will NEVER be inhabited again. This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled, when Jesus returns for the battle of Armageddon. The place in context is southern Iraq.

Isaiah 13:19-21 - "Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. ...but wild beasts of the desert shall lie there;..."

Believe In God

Why Believe In God?

someone were to ask you the question, “Why believe in God?” what would you say? Would you be able to answer his or her question or would you just answer by saying, “Because He is here”? Consider the following points.

Why believe in God? We can feel Him calling us.

Every culture throughout history has been convinced that there is a higher power that watches over them. This desire to reach for that higher power is man’s search to get reconnected to God. All of these people have the idea of God in their consciousness because deep in their hearts they know that He is there (Romans 1-2). Who put the desire in their hearts as well as our hearts that we should seek after Him? God did.

Why believe in God? The complexity of all life and of our planet

When we look to all of science, we can see that there is order and that there is a definite pattern to the layout and structure of not only the human body, but also the universe in which we live.
The distinguished astronomer Sir Frederick Hoyle showed how amino acids randomly coming together in a human cell are mathematically absurd. Sir Hoyle illustrated the weakness of "chance" with the following analogy: "What are the chances that a tornado might blow through a junkyard containing all the parts of a 747, accidentally assemble them into a plane, and leave it ready for take-off? The possibilities are so small as to be negligible even if a tornado were to blow through enough junkyards to fill the whole universe!"
Who created this universe in such a set a pattern that no man, when he looks carefully enough, can deny that the hand of God was used in its creation?

Why believe in God? Sense of right and wrong

Even from our earliest years we all have an innate sense of right and wrong. This “conscience,” as the world refers to it, keeps us in a moral as well as ethical balance and without it the world would break down into total chaos. Who put that sense of right and wrong in us? God did.

CELIBRATION OF PALM SUNDAY

Chonmipem Horam

Palm Sunday commemorates the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem five days before His crucifixion. It marks the beginning of the Holy Week that commemorates the last days of Jesus’ life. For Christians it’s a time to prepare for the agony of His Passion and the joy of His Resurrection.

The Gospel reveals that when Jesus entered Jerusalem to celebrate Passover, riding on a donkey, the crowds greeted him with palm branches, spread their cloaks on his path and shouted, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” to honour him as their long awaited King.

With this celebration, He began his journey to the cross. The scene is rich with symbolism. In biblical times, the donkey (or domesticated ass) was a symbol of peace. Those who rode upon them, proclaimed peaceful intentions. The laying of palm was a sign of martyrdom or victory over death.

Palm Sunday is also known as Passion Sunday, Willow Sunday and Flower Sunday.

The story goes like this…

The Old Testament prophet Zechariah had foretold about the arrival of the Messianic King in Jerusalem riding on a donkey.

The Jewish people had seen how Jesus went around and performed so miracles. His ultimate miracle was raising Lazarus from the dead. When he arrived, the people hailed the Teacher from Galilee as something more than a man, and Jesus did not deny this exaltation.

Many of the Jews believed in Him. “But some other went to the Pharisees and told what Jesus did. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said “what shall we do? For this man works many signs. If we let him alone like this everyone will believe in him and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation. Then from that day on they plotted to put Him to death. (John 11:46-48; 53). There were economic reasons for opposing him as well, seeing the commercialization of the Temple, Jesus had driven the dealers and animals out, as well as turning over the tables of the moneychangers saying ‘My House is a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves”. (Luke 19:46)

So with all these great deeds, His disciples and the believers recognized Him as the Messiah when he still on his way to Jerusalem. Crowds of people carpeted the roads with their cloaks and palm branches and shouted: “Hossana to the son of David! Blessings on him who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the heavens.” (Mathew 21: 9)
Today, Palm Sunday is celebrated in much the same way as it has been since the 10th century. The palm leaves are distributed among the followers to use in the usual Church service. Afterwards, many people take the palms home and place them in their houses. In some countries, these palms are placed on the graves of the departed. In colder climates like Russia and Ukraine, where palm trees are not found, branches of yew, willow, and sallow trees are used. However the meaning of Palm Sunday remains the same. It is a participation for Christians with Jesus in the joy and happiness of His Resurrection.

“Hossana to the son of David! Blessings on him who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the heavens.”

PRAYER - "My Heart Is Fixed"

When David stumbled upon Saul (who was pursuing to kill him) in a cave, David cried, "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast." A true believer spontaneously calls on God in every crisis because his heart is fixed on God.

Psalms 57:7 - "My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. ...For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds."

PRINCIPALS - "There Is A Reward For The Righteous"

Do you speak righteousness? Do you judge uprightly? Is there wickedness in your heart, or violence in your hands? The wicked go astray from the womb, speaking lies, stopping their ears, like poisonous serpents. God will break them. He will melt them. He will take them away. The righteous will rejoice at God's vengeance against the wicked. Here is all the preaching you should need to hear to convert your soul: "There shall be no reward to the evil man," Proverbs 24:20. So simple, but so profound.

Psalms 58:11 - "Verily there is a reward for the righteous."

PRINCIPLES - "In Times Of Trouble, I Will Sing"

Saul made a total of twenty-one attempts to kill David. David's recourse was always the same - call on God. "Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me. ...they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me." During his gravest dangers, David wrote poetry and sang songs to the LORD!

Psalms 59:16 - "But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble."

PROPHECIES - "Moab Is My Washpot"

David contemplated several regional conflicts he faced, and declared, "God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, ...Gilead is mine, ...Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; ...Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe." Concerning Moab, God washed away that incestuous seed of Lot. Concerning Edom, Jews cast out their shoe when they forfeited property. God forfeited Edom (Esau's descendants) - separated from Jacob's seed.

Psalms 60:11-12 - "Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies."

Align Your Thoughts TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Align Your Thoughts

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he"
(Proverbs 23:7, NKJ)

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Do you ever stop to think about what you're thinking about? The Bible tells us that what happens on the inside of us—our thoughts, attitudes, and motives—are more important to God than what happens on the outside in our actions. You can fool people all day long by saying the right things, but the scripture tells us that God is looking on the inside at our hearts. He wants our thoughts and attitudes to come into alignment with His Word so that we can see His promises come to pass in our lives.
Remember, your life will follow the course you set with your mind. When you align your thoughts with God's thoughts, your life will follow the course He has prepared for you. Jeremiah 29 tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His thoughts are for our peace. His thoughts are for our victory! So today, align your thoughts with His thoughts by meditating on His Word. Let His promises sink down deep into your heart so that you can move forward in the life of victory He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, today I surrender every area of my life to You. Help my thoughts to line up with Your Word. Bring your promises to my remembrance today as I meditate on You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
During the course of a single day, thousands of thoughts flow through our minds. Some of them give us life as they build us up, while others tear us down and steal our hope. You were not created to be ruled by negative thoughts. God's desire for you is to take control of your thoughts and live life to the fullest, experiencing His goodness, favor and blessings no matter what you're facing.
You can't always control which thoughts come…but you can decide which ones you allow to stay around.

The Bible says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). It's so important to understand that our actions are determined by the way we think. So many times, we replay the same negative thoughts over and over. When negativity and doubt set in and stay in your mind, it is nearly impossible to set a course toward God's best plans for your life. In Psalm 77, the psalmist cries out to God as he wrestles with his thoughts. He says he's in deep trouble, he's overwhelmed with longing for God's help, he can't sleep and he feels rejected. We all struggle at one point or another with thoughts that take us down the wrong path. But God wants us to start thinking on positive things – things that give hope and life. When we do this, we'll begin to experience greater victory and see ourselves rising to new levels. Remember, when you take control of your thoughts, you ultimately take control of your life. This is just the beginning of what God wants to do in you and through you. He's got a great plan for your life to make a mark in this world! Victoria and I believe with all our hearts that God is going to help you rise to new levels this year and help you as you renew your mind with His Word and allow His Word to guide you. We're praying for you and believing for great things in your life. Thank you so much for supporting this ministry and helping us share the message HOPE in Jesus Christ around the world. You truly are making a difference! Thank you so much!

Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

Struggling With Unanswered Prayer

PRAYER - "Struggling With Unanswered Prayer"

Job pleaded with his friends to stop attacking him. He was overwhelmed, and struggling to make sense of his trials. He rehearsed all the prayers he had prayed, and all the efforts he had made to correct his mistakes and persuade God to deliver him from his plight. Sooner or later, we all get the feeling that God does not care or is not listening. But God IS listening. Just hold on a little longer, and you will see.

Job 19:7 - "Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment."

PRINCIPLES - "The Wicked Condemn The Righteous"

Even after Job begged for mercy, Zophar resumed his verbal assault. Job's friends were viciously determined to prove that Job was a dirty rotten sinner and would never escape the wrath of God. This is an amazing state of mind for men who had never seen or heard of a Bible, never heard a preacher, seen a tabernacle, or had any organized religion. That sounds like multitudes of godless people in our day who viciously condemn righteous men.

Job 20:29 - "This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God."

PROPHECIES - "Job Speaks Of Life After Death And Coming Redeemer"

Here is evidence in the oldest book of the Bible that Job believed in life after death. He expected to see God and prophesied that his redeemer would appear on the earth in the latter days - a clear reference to the coming of Jesus Christ.

Job 19:25-27 - "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another."

What God Expects

  What God Expects

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear
the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve
the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the
commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day
 for thy good? —

When a person accepts a position he should be given a "Job Description."
It is always a good thing to know what is required, or expected of you.
When your boss gives you a project at work, it is helpful to know what he
desires the finished product to be. As children, you would go and clean
your room to the level that you thought was "good enough," only to have
your patents come into the room and point out places that were not "up to
 code."

The same is with us today as born again Christians. Our old nature tempts
us to live a Christian life that is "good enough" by the world's
standards. But God wants to make sure we live a life that is "up to HIS
 code."

How can we do that? I believe the answer can be found here in our text as
Moses is giving instruction to the next generation of Israel that is
getting ready to cross the Jordan. Moses instructs them on what God would
 require of them:

A Person to Fear - "...to fear the LORD thy God..."
A Path To Follow - "...to walk in all his ways..."
A Priority in Fellowship - "...to love him..."
A Plan to Fulfill - "...to serve the LORD thy God...to keep the                                       commandments...and his statutes..."

What a great plan for all of us to follow today as we strive to live a
 victorious Christian life!
